Payroll CoordinatorThe Payroll Coordinator supports accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll while maintaining employee payroll records, reviewing timekeeping data, and assisting with benefits and retirement plan administration. This role requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport biweekly payroll processing for employees across multiple statesReview timesheets for completeness, accuracy, policy compliance, and required approvalsMaintain payroll records for new hires, terminations, compensation changes, direct deposit updates, and tax withholding changesAssist with payroll tax filings, reporting, and related compliance activitiesSupport benefits administration, payroll deductions, and reconciliationsProcess and reconcile 401(k) contributions, employer matches, and loansResearch payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries, following established procedures and escalating exceptions for reviewPrepare payroll reports and analyze payroll data using ExcelSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activitiesCoordinate with Human Resources, Benefits, and Finance as neededPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)5 years of payroll administration, payroll coordinator, or related payroll experienceExperience with ADP, Workday, Paylocity, or a similar payroll platform; Deltek Vantagepoint experience preferredWorking knowledge of payroll processing, payroll taxes, wage and hour requirements, payroll deductions, benefits administration, and 401(k) contribution processingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functionsAbility to follow established procedures and refer exceptions for reviewStrong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information accuratelyAbility to organize assigned work, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlinesClear communication and customer service skillsIf you need an accommodation or assistance with completing your application due to a disability or special need, please contact our team at View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io.EEO Statement:All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
