Human Resources Generalist

Join our client's team on a contract basis, supporting healthcare professionals nationwide. We are seeking an HR Generalist with healthcare experience who can thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. This is a fully onsite and contract role in Maitland, FL. Responsibilities: Manage onboarding and new‑hire processes for healthcare professionals Serve as an HR resource for employee relations, process I9, policy guidance, and workplace concerns Administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, and leave‑of‑absence programs Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with company policies and employment laws Partner with managers on performance, employee engagement, and workforce‑related matters Support HR projects and initiatives for a nationwide workforce Qualifications: 2+ years of HR Generalist experience Healthcare HR experience is a plus Experience with employee relations, I9, FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and leave administration Experience supporting high‑volume employee populations Experience working with international nursing professionals is highly preferred Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Benefits: Ascendo Resources offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth.
