Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Licensed Insurance Account Manager located in Colts Neck, NJ. The Insurance Account Manager will manage and service a designated book of personal and/or commercial insurance accounts, including policy changes, renewals, and coverage inquiries. Daily responsibilities include responding to client requests, processing endorsements, preparing proposals, reviewing coverage options, and assisting with claims reporting and follow-up. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, monitoring renewal timelines, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements. The Insurance Account Manager will collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carrier representatives to support clients and maintain strong business relationships.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (state of New Jersey) and experience servicing personal or commercial lines accounts.
- Strong client service skills, including clear communication, professional phone and email etiquette, and the ability to explain insurance coverage in accessible terms.
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems, carrier rating platforms, and standard office software (e.G., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet renewal and service deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, policy review, data entry, and compliance with agency and carrier procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on-site, contribute to a positive team environment, and build long-term client relationships.
- Previous experience in an independent agency or carrier environment is preferred;
knowledge of New Jerseyinsurance regulations is a plus. - High school diploma required;
an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
