Position: Plating Operator
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Work Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm (training on 1st shift for a few weeks before moving permanently to 2nd shift)
• 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11pm–7am (training on 1st shift for a few weeks before moving permanently to 3rd shift)
• Overtime available on weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Operate production of parts through the appropriate plating process, including setups, changeovers, and periodic routine preventative maintenance on plating equipment
• Conduct quality checks using x-ray machines and other gauges on in-process and post-plated products
• Complete all required paperwork related to the plating process
• Transport completed products to shipping using a forklift, as needed
• Maintain plating baths, check for proper chemical levels, and mix chemicals as needed
• Set up manufacturing links system, laser, print stations, DI water systems, closed-loop evaporators, and vision systems
• Identify and remove defects
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area (TEOA)
• Unload finished material and feed new material into the process

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year relevant on-the-job or vocational training and/or work experience
• Understanding of company policies and procedures
• May need to recognize situations requiring deviation from established procedures

• Duties and tasks are varied and semi-routine
