Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 3 years in ICU required; 4 years preferred License: Valid California RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 3 years of experience in ICU required; 4 years preferred - Charge experience preferred - Required charting system experience: Epic - Trauma Level I experience required Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience working in an ICU setting, with four years preferred. A valid California RN license is required along with current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Preferred qualifications include prior charge nurse experience and familiarity with the Epic charting system. Experience in trauma level I settings is a necessity. The role requires managing various critical care responsibilities, including arterial line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management. Candidates should be adept in performing procedures related to critical care management. Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration with support services are essential for this position. The expectation is to maintain patient safety and provide high-quality care while adhering to safety protocols. Weekend rotation and potential floating to other units as needed are part of the job requirements. Effective communication and patient advocacy are vital components of this role.
