Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Starting in August and running through June, this full-time role spans Monday through Friday, offering between 32 and 37.5 hours weekly. You’ll provide crucial districtwide services, empowering students to reach their fullest potential in an engaging educational environment.

Your expertise as a physical therapist will make a tangible impact on students with diverse needs, partnering with dedicated educators to help every learner thrive. In-person engagement is essential, as this position requires hands-on collaboration and support across various school locations within the district.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable working with a K-12 caseload
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Willingness to travel between district sites as needed
• Commitment to an in-person, full-time role for the full school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students per IEP specifications
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored interventions
• Document progress and communicate with teachers, staff, and families
• Collaborate with special education and general education teams
• Contribute to district-wide support initiatives
