Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics

Our organization is actively searching for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (OB) to become a part of our Primary Care team in Jenison, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive family medicine services, including preventive care and the diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions.
• Oversee prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care for patients.
• Work in a modern, standalone primary care facility equipped with an onsite laboratory.
• Participate in a structured office schedule, operating Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with 4 to 4.5 days spent in the office.
• Collaborate with a fully staffed team, including 7 physicians, 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), 16 flow nurses, 9 triage nurses, a pharmacist, a behavioral health specialist, and a care manager.
• Share on-call duties with other Family Medicine physicians in the network, with phone calls only.
• Engage in teaching opportunities for residents, medical students, and fellows.

Qualifications:

• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians.
• Experience in obstetrics is required.
• Must be board certified in the specialty or board eligible, with a commitment to achieving board certification within two years of eligibility.
• A valid State of Michigan medical license is required upon employment.
• DEA license is necessary.
• BLS Certification is required, with ongoing recertification.
