Management and Program Analyst

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

Consults with top-level managers and executives to establish and define the overall goals and objectives of major projects.
Prepares short- and long-term action plans and schedules for various phases of the project, ensuring consistency with Service goals, schedules, and policies.
Manages project resources, recommends resource requirements and adjustments, and negotiates with Business Units to obtain resources and support.
Establishes systems to review, control, and report on project status. Monitors projects and adjusts work plans, schedules, and assignments for project accomplishment.
Plans, coordinates, and establishes operating methods and procedures and directs the development and accomplishment of employee training related to the project.
