Order Entry Clerk / Customer Service Role
Snelling Staffing is hiring for an Order Entry Clerk / Customer Service role at our client located in Sterling Heights, MI.
This Order Entry Clerk / Customer Service position is Temp to Hire, $20-23/hour.
This Order Entry / Customer Service position is located at a small manufacturing/distribution company, and although you'll be working primarily in the office, this position includes daily order follow in the warehouse.
Job duties include:
- Enter customer orders accurately into QuickBooks.
- Process and maintain customer records and order information.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers professionally.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely manner.
- Coordinate daily with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are processed and shipped correctly.
- Prepare shipping documentation using UPS and FedEx shipping software.
- Assist with domestic and international shipping documentation and logistics.
- Verify order details, pricing, shipping information, and inventory availability.
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and warehouse personnel to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Perform general office and administrative duties as required.
- Must be experienced with Excel and QuickBooks and be self-motivated. This is a small office so you will be expected to pitch in where/when needed.
