You'll be responsible for:Performing general building maintenance and repairsTroubleshooting plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issuesRepairing walls, ceilings, doors, drywall, and facility structuresPainting, carpentry, and facility improvement projectsInstalling and maintaining building equipmentCompleting preventive maintenance and assigned work ordersIdentifying repair needs before they become major problemsResponding to urgent maintenance requests and facility emergenciesMaintaining accurate maintenance records and daily logsSupporting multiple facilities as operational needs ariseWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working in a fast-paced maintenance environment.Preferred Experience:Facilities MaintenanceBuilding MaintenancePlumbingElectrical RepairsCarpentryPainting & DrywallMechanical TroubleshootingPreventive MaintenanceHVAC Experience (a plus)Industrial or Commercial Maintenance (a plus)You Should Also Have:Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to safely use hand and power toolsBasic math and computer skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishReliable transportation and dependable attendanceAbility to respond to after-hours emergencies when neededPhysical RequirementsThis is an active, hands-on role requiring:Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and climbingUse of maintenance tools and equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Working both indoors and outdoorsScheduleFirst Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Must be available for overtime as needed.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Fernando, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
