Our client is a well-established CPA firm that provides accounting and financial services to a diverse group of small and mid-sized businesses. They are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team and provide accurate, timely bookkeeping support for multiple clients.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books and records for multiple clients
• Record and classify daily financial transactions, including income and expenses
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
• Post journal entries and make necessary account adjustments
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports and bookkeeping schedules for clients and internal use
• Assist with sales tax filings and other accounting-related reporting
• Communicate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve bookkeeping questions
• Maintain organized and accurate client records and supporting documentation

Qualifications Of The Bookkeeper Role

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting environment
• QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Experience with multiple clients or entities preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
