Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Direct Hire opportunity is located in Reading, PA and offers an Onsite work arrangement. The position plays an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately while helping to support benefits administration across a multi state workforce. Ideal candidates will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, managing detailed processes, and serving as a resource for employee payroll and benefits related questions.

Compensation: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator:

• Support payroll administration activities by reviewing employee data, verifying records, and helping ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Coordinate benefits related processes, including employee enrollment updates, documentation management, and communication support.
• Maintain organized and accurate payroll and personnel records while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, deductions, and benefit programs, providing professional and timely assistance.
• Facilitate communication with external payroll and benefits service providers to resolve issues and support ongoing operational needs.

Qualifications and Skills for the Payroll Coordinator:

• Previous experience supporting payroll operations, benefits administration, or related human resources functions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information accurately and confidentially.
• Knowledge of payroll practices, employee records management, and benefit program administration.
• Effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to assist employees and collaborate with external partners.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work efficiently in a fast paced environment supporting a multi state employee population.
