IT Category Manager

Responsible for overseeing and optimizing procurement strategies for IT-related goods and services, the full-time Category Manager (IT) will drive cost efficiency, improve supplier relationships, and align purchasing strategies with organizational goals in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for IT goods and services while conducting market research to identify cost-saving opportunities Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and assess supplier performance to ensure alignment with business needs Identify and mitigate risks within the IT supply chain, ensuring compliance and effective risk management strategies are in place Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5-8 years of category management experience Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M.) In-depth knowledge of IT procurement and category-specific fundamentals Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive in-depth analysis of third-party spend
