CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
4-day work week
Shift differential
Overtime available on Fridays
What You'll Do
- Operate and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine setups
- Read blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot CNC equipment and automated cells
- Work with robotic machine-tending systems
- Follow AS9100 quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- CNC machining experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Experience holding tight tolerances
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Robotics or automation experience
- Knowledge of G-Code/M-Code and AS9100 standards

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
