Senior Transportation Engineer

Who You Are PSI is seeking to hire a Senior Transportation Engineer with knowledge and experience in roadway and traffic design. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a STEM degree. This position allows for exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis work and seeing projects’ development from the concept to final design. Responsibilities Production of transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Projects may include geometric design, temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, and lighting networks. Perform quality control reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project objectives Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical leadership and oversight on project QA/QC procedures Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables. Qualifications B.S. Degree in Engineering or other related STEM fields 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience within transportation/traffic/roadway Ability and desire to operate professionally in a team environment Preferred Qualifications P.E License Experience using OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or Synchro M.S.
