Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care

Job Overview RN Critical Care role at LCMC Health . Join a team that cares for patients during their most vulnerable times and supports families with empathy and advanced critical care skills. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all care touchpoints for critical care patients. Evaluate vital signs and monitor advanced life support measures. Apply knowledge of complex patient conditions, including psycho/social needs. Maintain and advocate a safe environment for all patients, staff, and families. Monitor and engage with patients, families, and care team members regarding significant events or changes. Prevent and treat wounds. Execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements. Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, and high-quality patient experience. Collaborate with nursing supervisors and answer questions about patient care. Initiate patient and family education with appropriate resources. Assist the team proactively when requested. Qualifications & Must‑Haves Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana (as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing). American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Work Shift & Benefits Variable Hours (United States of America).
