- Powered by a high-performing team of providers and support staff, delivering exceptional outcomes in a competitive market
- Own the practice's financial reporting: monthly, quarterly, and annual P&Ls, revenue analysis, and financial statements across both locations
- Calculate and report provider collections for all providers; manage commission planning and reporting
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans in support of practice growth and potential expansion decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance across the practice and present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Develop and monitor KPIs across departments to track financial and operational health
- Take over bookkeeping responsibilities currently managed by an external firm; work in coordination with the local CPA on tax and advisory functions
- Manage inventory reporting and oversight
- Support payroll oversight; potential to take on payroll management from current operations lead over time
- Potentially grow into oversight of the billing department, including AR management and billing team leadership
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks for accurate, efficient financial tracking and reporting
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong accounting and financial oversight background; someone who genuinely enjoys the numbers side of a business
- Experience managing financial operations at a medical practice, healthcare services company, or similar multi-site environment is strongly preferred; strong fundamentals from another industry are also considered
- Proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with ModMed is a plus
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in a growth-stage environment
- Comfortable owning a function independently with minimal day-to-day oversight from leadership
- Early to mid-career profile: someone in the first 10 to 12 years of their career who is excited about ownership and growth rather than looking for a large enterprise environment
- Business development orientation or interest in contributing to growth strategy is a plus
