Lakeview Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Sales Engineer for an established manufacturer of high-performance motion control and automation products.

This is not a build-from-zero territory. The Sales Engineer will take responsibility for an established territory generating approximately $4 million in annual revenue , with the opportunity to both expand existing relationships and develop new business throughout Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

We are looking for someone who combines technical motion control knowledge with the ability to sell . The right person should be comfortable sitting down with an OEM or machine builder, understanding the application, discussing servo sizing and mechanical requirements, and helping determine the right solution-not simply presenting a product catalog.

The position will work with both OEM customers and industrial distribution , developing relationships with engineers, purchasing groups and other key decision makers. The product focus includes highly engineered precision gearbox and servo automation solutions used in demanding industrial automation applications.
What We're Looking For

The strongest candidates will bring:

• 5+ years of technical sales experience within motion control, industrial automation or servo automation
• Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo systems or closely related motion control technologies
• Experience working directly with OEMs, machine builders and industrial distributors
• The technical ability to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions
• Experience with servo system sizing and the interaction between mechanical and electrical components
• A track record of developing a territory and growing customer relationships
• An engineering or related technical degree is preferred

Candidates should ideally live in the Cincinnati/Dayton area or within a reasonable distance of the territory's primary customer base.
Compensation

The targeted base salary is $95,000-$105,000 , with the ability to go higher for someone who brings particularly strong experience in precision gearboxes and servo automation.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package includes:

• Variable compensation of approximately 20-25%
• $700 monthly car allowance
• Additional reimbursement for business mileage
