Maintenance Manager

Manager, Maintenance and Facility Services Oversees the overall operation and activities of Maintenance and Facility Services Administer District policy and maintenance directives in relationship to disciplinary actions for direct reports Review and approve requests for purchases of tools, equipment and supplies to meet the needs of the District Completes monthly overtime reports Visit District sites to monitor maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and operation instructions Monitor and enforce district safety regulations Performs annual employee evaluations Analyze and resolve work problems, and assist department personnel in solving problems Schedule, supervise, and monitor related field contractors and subcontracted personnel as needed to accomplish tasks Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to Maintenance and Facility activities; advise appropriate personnel of regulation changes affecting the District Interface with internal and external customers ensuring effective communications regarding status and priority of events Must be able to work flexible hours Comply with District policies and procedures Supports procurement, budget and accounting operations Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency); Bachelor's degree in a directly related field preferred Required Valid Texas Driver's License and a record that meets the District's standard Five (5) years of directly related experience including two (2) years of supervisory experience General knowledge of maintenance operations Knowledge of District policies and procedures Project management skills Computer skills ( Microsoft office suite) Ability to make decision quickly Maintenance And Facility Services 3701 BOTHAM JEAN BOULEVARD BOX 75 Dallas 75215 Manager-Maintenance Full-time 69,680.00 Median Salary : 84985.00
