CNC Machinist / Programmer

Integrative Staffing Group (ISG) is hiring a CNC Machinist / Programmer for a well-established precision manufacturing company in Irwin, PA.

Location: Irwin, PA

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and program CNC machining centers
Perform machine changeovers and tooling setups
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Select proper tooling, speeds, and feeds for machining operations
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Make minor program edits and offset adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
Maintain production documentation and quality records
Keep work areas clean and organized while following all safety procedures

Qualifications

Previous CNC machining and programming experience required
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with G-Code programming and machine setup
Strong understanding of machining practices and tolerances
Experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks is a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Haas Mill & Lathe experience
CNC Router experience
CAD/CAM programming
Precision manufacturing environment
Tooling selection and process optimization
