We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a hands-on HR Director to build and lead a scalable HR function supporting a large, multi-state hourly workforce. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong visibility across the organization and direct partnership with executive leadership.

This opportunity is ideal for an HR leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building structure from the ground up, and brings deep expertise in California employment law, employee relations, and workers’ compensation.

What You’ll Lead

• Build and improve HR processes, policies, and infrastructure
• Serve as the internal expert on California wage & hour compliance
• Lead complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations
• Oversee workers’ compensation programs, claims, and return-to-work processes
• Partner with leadership to drive consistency, accountability, and operational excellence
• Ensure compliance across a multi-state workforce environment

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership
• Deep knowledge of California labor laws and wage & hour compliance
• Strong employee relations and investigations experience
• Workers’ compensation administration expertise
• Experience supporting high-volume hourly workforces
• Proven ability to build or transform HR infrastructure
