Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact working with elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist this upcoming school year! Two contract positions are open for skilled SLPs in the south Indianapolis area, offering a rewarding opportunity to support young learners from July 29th through May 27th. The roles cover elementary-level caseloads with averagesized groups, ensuring you can provide focused, quality therapy. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, making this a flexible fit for your needs.
Sought-after skills and qualifications for this assignment include:
- Active SLP license for Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP credential preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Experience working with pediatric or elementary-age students
- Familiarity with school-based therapy services and IEP implementation
- Competence in providing assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language assessments and developing individualized intervention plans
- Providing targeted therapy to elementary students in a school setting
- Documenting intervention, progress, and outcomes per school and state requirements
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supporting students’ communication and academic success through innovative, evidence-based strategies
