Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year. Two SLPs are needed to provide services from July 29th to May 27th, working with a manageable caseload size in a collaborative educational environment south of Indianapolis. While full-time schedules are preferred, consideration can be given to highly qualified part-time candidates.
Bring your expertise in pediatrics and your commitment to helping children achieve their communication goals within a school-based setting. This contract role is a fantastic fit for Clinical Fellows (CFY) as well as those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and offers a welcoming, team-oriented atmosphere.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
- CCC or CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy for a diverse elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments and create individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain documentation and comply with district and legal requirements
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
