Head of Partnerships
Tua Financial Technologies Ltd.
Tua Financial Technologies is seeking a highly commercial, strategic, and execution-oriented Head of Partnerships to lead and scale the company’s partnership strategy across integrated channels, direct channels, and enterprise relationships. This role is central to the success of Tua’s growth strategy and its Embedded Finance Platform Model — EFPM . Tua’s EFPM strategy brings together consumer finance, commercial finance, and other value‑added financial solutions for merchants, SMBs, and enterprise relationships. The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for converting strategic relationships into profitable, scalable, and measurable revenue channels. This is a senior role reporting directly to the CEO. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable building trust with partner executives, negotiating commercial terms, managing contract performance, presenting to large enterprise partners, and standing in the boardroom of a $60+ billion market capitalization company to represent Tua with credibility, confidence, and commercial sophistication. The Head of Partnerships will be expected to drive not only volume and revenue, but also channel‑level profitability, contract adherence, partner accountability, and improved economics for Tua over time . Strategic Importance of the Role Partnerships are one of the most important growth engines for Tua. Tua demonstrates Partner Intelligence (PI) in each of our relationships. The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for ensuring that each partnership has a clear business case, measurable production goals, defined profitability targets, contractual accountability, and a path to expanded economics for Tua. This role is not simply relationship management. It is a commercial leadership role with direct responsibility for helping Tua grow revenue, funded volume, partner activation, market reach, and enterprise value. Key Responsibilities Lead Tua’s partnership strategy across integrated software channels, payment ecosystems, direct enterprise partnerships, dental and healthcare networks, commercial finance channels, equipment finance partners, and other embedded finance distribution relationships. Own the full partnership lifecycle, including identification, qualification, business case development, negotiation, launch, activation, performance management, expansion, and renewal. Work directly with the CEO to prioritize strategic partners that can materially accelerate Tua’s growth across TuaPay, TuaCommercial, and future EFPM products. Develop and manage integrated channel partnerships with platforms, software providers, payment companies, and embedded finance ecosystems. Develop and manage direct channel partnerships with enterprise accounts, dental groups, healthcare networks, equipment providers, commercial finance referral sources, and strategic industry relationships. Ensure that each partnership has a defined commercial model, including expected funded volume, revenue contribution, gross margin, partner economics, cost to serve, implementation requirements, and channel‑level profitability. Measure profitability by channel and partner, including revenue, funded volume, MDR contribution, referral fees, revenue share, cost to activate, operating cost, credit performance, servicing burden, and net contribution to Tua. Partner with finance, credit, operations, compliance, product, sales, and servicing to ensure partnership economics are understood, monitored, and improved over time. Own partner contract adherence, including performance obligations, exclusivity provisions, revenue‑share terms, service‑level commitments, implementation milestones, reporting requirements, and commercial commitments. Identify contracts or partner terms that are underperforming, unfavorable, outdated, or misaligned with Tua’s growth strategy. Lead or support renegotiation of partner agreements to secure more favorable terms for Tua, including improved economics, stronger performance obligations, better data access, clearer activation commitments, revised exclusivity language, stronger compliance obligations, and improved termination or renewal rights. Create partner scorecards that measure production, activation, profitability, contract compliance, strategic value, partner engagement, and expansion potential. Lead executive business reviews with major partners and ensure senior‑level alignment on performance, growth plans, issues, and next‑stage opportunities. Represent Tua in senior executive settings, including partner boardrooms, enterprise leadership meetings, investor discussions, industry forums, and strategic negotiations. Present clearly and confidently to executives of large public companies, including organizations with market capitalizations of $60 billion or more. Develop scalable partnership playbooks for integrated partners and direct channel partners, including launch plans, training models, activation targets, reporting cadence, and growth milestones. Work with sales and sales operations to ensure partner‑sourced merchants and opportunities are properly enrolled, trained, activated, and retained. Work with marketing to create partner‑facing materials, launch campaigns, executive presentations, and channel‑specific messaging. Provide regular reporting to the CEO and leadership team on partner pipeline, production, profitability, contract performance, risks, renegotiation opportunities, and strategic priorities. Performance Expectations The Head of Partnerships will be measured on both growth and quality of execution. Key performance areas will include: Funded volume by partner and channel. Revenue generated by partner and channel. Profitability by partner and channel. Merchant enrollment, activation, and production. Partner‑sourced pipeline growth. Contract adherence and partner performance against commitments. Improvement in Tua economics through renegotiated agreements. Successful launch and scaling of integrated and direct channel partnerships. Executive‑level partner engagement and relationship depth. Cross‑functional execution with sales, product, credit, operations, compliance, servicing, and finance. Ability to identify underperforming partnerships and either improve, renegotiate, or exit them. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a senior partnership, business development, channel, or commercial leader with experience in fintech, embedded finance, lending, payments, SaaS, healthcare, dental, commercial finance, equipment finance, or related markets. The candidate must have a proven ability to build strategic relationships, negotiate complex commercial agreements, launch revenue‑producing channels, and manage partnerships based on measurable business outcomes. The candidate should be highly financially literate and comfortable discussing partner economics, gross margin, revenue share, contribution profit, cost to serve, credit risk, operating costs, and channel‑level profitability. The candidate must understand that not all revenue is equal. Tua expects partnerships to be measured not only by volume, but by sustainable economics, contract performance, profitability, strategic fit, and long‑term enterprise value. The candidate must have executive presence and the confidence to represent Tua in high‑stakes settings, including meetings with senior executives and board‑level stakeholders of large enterprise partners. Required Capabilities Strong partnership strategy and business development experience. Demonstrated success negotiating and managing strategic commercial agreements. Ability to build and manage partner economics and channel profitability models. Experience working with integrated channels, direct enterprise channels, referral networks, or platform‑based distribution. Ability to hold partners accountable to contract terms and performance expectations. Experience renegotiating agreements to improve economics, obligations, or strategic alignment. Comfort presenting to senior leaders, boards, and executives of large public or enterprise companies. Strong commercial judgment and ability to prioritize partnerships that drive profitable growth. Ability to operate in a fast‑growing venture fintech environment with urgency, discipline, and accountability. Excellent cross‑functional leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High ownership mentality with the ability to move from strategy to execution. Compensation This role will include market‑competitive compensation with a high‑variable incentive structure tied to funded volume, revenue growth, channel profitability, partner activation, contract improvement, and strategic milestones. For the right leader, Tua expects to provide a path to equity participation as part of the company’s long‑term value creation plan. This is an opportunity to join a fast‑growing venture fintech at a pivotal stage and help build one of the company’s most important growth functions. Why This Role Matters Tua’s next stage of growth will be driven by its ability to build, activate, and monetize strategic partnerships. The Head of Partnerships will play a critical role in turning Tua’s EFPM strategy into results that drive enterprise value. The right leader will help Tua expand through integrated channels, direct enterprise partnerships, and embedded finance ecosystems while ensuring that each channel contributes to profitable, disciplined, and scalable growth. This role is for a partnership executive who can build relationships, negotiate better outcomes, manage performance, present at the highest levels, and help create significant enterprise value for Tua.
