Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Tech

Diversified Sourcing Solutions (DSS) is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing opportunity in the Waco, TX area. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with strong troubleshooting skills who can keep industrial machinery running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs

• Diagnose mechanical and electromechanical issues and identify root causes

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and repairs

• Work with equipment including:

  • Motors, bearings, chains, and sprockets

  • Conveyors

  • Ovens and heating elements

  • Looms

  • Blending and grinding equipment

  • Other industrial manufacturing machinery

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation

• Replace worn, damaged, or broken components as needed

• Document maintenance and repair work performed

• Help identify recurring equipment issues and recommend solutions to prevent future breakdowns

• Assist with general facility and building maintenance when needed

• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable health and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required

• Trade/vocational training or equivalent hands-on experience preferred

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electromechanical systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, push, pull, grasp, and grip as needed

• Ability to visually inspect machinery and equipment

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
