Role Summary In this role, you will analyze, design, build and implementSplunk infrastructure solutions for technology needs ensuring that theinfrastructure (network, hardware, software, data center, facilities, tools,and related equipment) is sufficiently robust, scalable, and efficient toenable delivery and ongoing operation of the solutions within an SREorganization. You will research problems, conduct installations, and evaluatenew technologies. Requires specializedknowledge and expertise in your own job discipline and deep experience inintegrating related disciplinary knowledge Leads disciplinary ormulti-functional program of notable risk; uses sophisticated analyticalthought to identify creative solutions Accountable for work ofyourself and others; sets standards around which others will operate Works independently withguidance in only the most complex situations Acts as advisor tomanagement and key external partners on broad ranging projects Responsibilities Technical leader withinLog Data Management and Engineering specializing in Splunk EnterprisePlatform administration, onboarding and tuning Defines standards foruse and management of infrastructure components Guides decisions aboutinfrastructure upgrades, refreshes, and replacement Leads or supportsincident response and troubleshooting efforts in more highly compleximplementations and across multiple domains Participates incontinuous improvement efforts that span multiple multi-functional domainsand informs the generation of new standards Identifies non-obviousrelationships and anomalies often overlooked by others Detects and overcomesissues before the broader team is aware of them Draws logical and objectiveconclusions from the data and validates them as the prime cause andcontributing factors Mentors other teammembers Provides feedback andcoaching to others who have management responsibility Participates ininterviews for new team members Capable of leading ateam on large, technically complex projects Able to overcomedifferences of opinion and drive team alignment around a specific goal orsolution Holds associates andteams accountable for adhering to practices and policies Business knowledge Demonstrates deepknowledge of products/flows within supported businesses Articulates broaderbusiness concerns and/or regulatory landscape, including key risks andcontrols (e.g., GDPR, MIFID, SOX) Makes decisions that arecognizant of the firm's broader business strategy Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree or theequivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ yearsof total relevant work experience Expert knowledge of oneor more infrastructure components including Cribl, Splunk Enterprise orSplunk Cloud Expert knowledge ofAgile/SCRUM utilizing JIRA/Confluence or equivalent Expert knowledge of coreinfrastructure capabilities: AWS, Linux operating systems, networking,identity, and access Expert knowledge inautomation technologies including Ansible/AWX Expert knowledge oftooling used to test and manage infrastructure components Stays ahead ofbest-of-breed technologies Preferred: Prior experience in theasset management industry #J-18808-Ljbffr 3Core Systems, Inc
