Litigation Defense Associate Attorney

SBSB Law PLLC is a rapidly growing defense law firm with offices in Houston, Dallas, Galveston, Corpus Christi, New Orleans, Chicago, Boca Raton, and Milwaukee. We are seeking a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to join our Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful case responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to continue developing as a litigator. What You’ll Do Handle a diverse caseload involving construction defect, personal injury, and other civil defense matters. Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions. Draft and argue substantive motions. Prepare case evaluations and develop litigation strategy. Communicate directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties. Work closely with experienced trial attorneys while taking meaningful ownership of your cases. What We’re Looking For Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Active Texas Bar license in good standing. Approximately 2–6 years of civil litigation experience. Defense litigation experience strongly preferred. Deposition and substantive motion practice experience. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities.
