Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

The Greener Side Lawn & Landscape LLC – Wichita, KS

Starting Pay: $17–$20/hour
Schedule: 5-Day Workweek
Experience: Not Required – We Will Train the Right Person

The Greener Side is a  growing lawn and landscape company looking for a dependable, hard-working person to join our lawn maintenance crew.

Lawn care experience is NOT required. We would rather hire someone who shows up every day, works hard, takes direction, and wants to learn than someone with years of experience and a poor attitude or work ethic.

Experience in construction, warehouse work, farming, roofing, moving, landscaping, or another physical/outdoor job can be a great fit—but it is not required.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work as part of a mowing crew maintaining residential and HOA properties throughout Wichita. Daily work includes:

• Operating a commercial string trimmer/weedeater
• Mowing with commercial equipment as needed
• Edging sidewalks, driveways, and landscape beds
• Blowing off sidewalks, driveways, patios, and other hard surfaces
• Helping keep the truck, trailer, and equipment clean and organized
• Working efficiently as part of a crew
• Following instructions from the crew lead
• Other lawn and landscape work as needed

We will train the right person.

You do  not need professional lawn care experience.

What matters more to us is that you:

• Show up on time and ready to work
• Are dependable and have reliable transportation
• Can work outside all day, including during hot Kansas summers
• Can handle physically demanding work and stay productive throughout the day
• Can take direction and work well with a crew
• Pay attention to details
• Take care of equipment
• Have a good attitude and are willing to learn
• Can maintain a steady work pace without needing to be constantly supervised

We're looking for someone who wants to become a valuable part of the crew—not someone looking to work for a few days and disappear.

Pay & Opportunity to Grow

Starting pay is $17–$20/hour , depending on qualifications and what you bring to the team.

Schedule

This position generally works a 5-day workweek , with the schedule adjusted as needed for weather and workload.
