Production Support Specialist

Job Location: Addison, TX (3 days onsite & 2 days remote) Responsibilities Provide Level 2 production support for batch-oriented and data-driven applications. Monitor production jobs and investigate batch failures, data load issues, and application incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, SQL, and Hive. Support Informatica workflows and ETL processes. Analyze application, server, and database logs to identify root causes and implement resolutions. Monitor scheduled jobs using Autosys or similar scheduling tools. Manage incidents, problem tickets, and production changes while ensuring SLA compliance. Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve production issues. Document root cause analysis, resolutions, and operational procedures. Participate in rotational on-call, weekend, and holiday support as required. Required Skills Strong experience supporting production applications in a Level 2 support environment. Hands‑on experience with Hadoop/Hive and SQL (Oracle/PLSQL or relational databases) . Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting. Experience supporting batch processing environments and ETL/data pipelines. Knowledge of Informatica workflows. Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys or equivalent. Ability to troubleshoot application, database, and server issues. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or Cutover. Familiarity with ITIL, Incident Management, and Problem Management processes.
