Job Description

  • Care and development of a demanding B2B customer portfolio with a focus on manufacturers in the field of vertical sun protection (blinds, roller shutters, screens), windows, facade shading, and related products
  • Strategic support of industry partners in the integration of Somfy drive, control, and automation solutions into modern sun protection and window systems
  • Expansion of existing business relationships based on shared market, sales, and growth strategies
  • Identification and acquisition of new potential customers as well as targeted re-acquisition of former business partners
  • Systematic key account planning along relevant success factors such as sales development, product mix, margin, project pipeline, marketing activities, training, and sales promotion
  • Development and implementation of customer-specific measures to strengthen Somfy's market position in the industrial environment
  • Preparation and conduct of price and condition negotiations
  • Presentation of Somfy's performance portfolio from innovative drives and controls to networked smart home and automation solutions
  • Conducting product and sales training for customers and partners

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree, ideally with a focus on sales, marketing, or a comparable field, or completed vocational training
  • First experience in technical B2B sales, preferably in the field of sun protection, window construction, building automation, smart home, or complex technical products
  • Profound understanding of industrial customer structures, technical decision-making processes, and long-term partnership development
  • Analytical and strategic mindset as well as the ability to systematically recognize market potentials and translate them into concrete measures
  • Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, and a passion for inspiring customers with innovative solutions
  • High motivation, structured working style, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Negotiating skills in English, both verbally and in writing
  • High willingness to travel and enjoyment of personal exchange with customers and partners on site
