Key Responsibilities

• 
  Receive, accession, and verify incoming laboratory specimens with high accuracy
  
  



• 
  Perform data entry and documentation in laboratory information systems
  
  



• 
  Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens according to protocols
  
  



• 
  Prepare and distribute specimens to appropriate testing departments
  
  



• 
  Identify and resolve discrepancies such as missing or incorrect information
  
  



• 
  Perform repetitive processing tasks while maintaining strict quality standards
  
  



• 
  Organize and prioritize workload to meet turnaround time requirements
  
  



• 
  Maintain compliance with laboratory procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality guidelines
  
  



• 
  Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding specimen issues
  
  



• 
  Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with lab policies
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  



• 
  1 - 2 years lab, specimen processing, accessioning, or equivalent experience
  
  



• 
  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and handling
  
  



• 
  Comfortable working independently during evening/overnight hours
  
  



• 
  Strong organizational and time management skills
  
  



• 
  Reliable attendance and punctuality
