We are seeking a detail‐oriented and highly organized Loan Documentation Specialist to support our lending operations team. In this role, you will prepare accurate and compliant documentation for consumer loans, commercial loans, and commercial real estate transactions—including renewals, modifications, and letters of credit. You will also provide administrative support to the loan department and ensure exceptional service to both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for commercial real estate loan renewals and modifications
• Prepare documentation for letters of credit
• Prepare documentation for commercial non‐real‐estate loans while meeting service level standards
• Prepare documentation for consumer loans with a high degree of accuracy
• Complete new vendor setup forms for invoices associated with new loans
• Maintain exceptional accuracy across all loan‐related tasks
• Clear monthly loan exceptions related to processed files
• Provide backup support for additional loan operations processes as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of banking or financial services experience
• 2–3 years of experience in loan operations or 1–2 years of loan processing experience
• Strong understanding of loan documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and lending procedures
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong computer skills, including loan systems, calculators, and typing proficiency
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to lending
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in environments with occasional exposure to dust, odors, or varying temperatures
