Essential Functions:

• Conduct visual and physical assessments of the hotel's infrastructure and systems.
• Perform hands-on work when necessary, especially in small teams.
• Manage routine maintenance and repairs for all areas of the hotel.
• Lead the maintenance department, including Engineers and Grounds Keepers.
• Provide regular updates to management on building conditions and maintenance proposals.
• Adhere to budgets and purchasing policies.
• Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledgeable in hotel operations and services.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.

Education & Experience:

• Certificate from a Vocational Institution in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical repair preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of manager and/ or 3 years supervisor experience in maintenance and 3 years in relevant trades.
• Current Driver's License required.
• Certified pool operator certification preferred.

Hours:

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Must respond to emergencies as needed.
