Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous daily inspections of civil, structural steel, marine structures, and concrete works to ensure 100% compliance with project specifications, drawings, and codes. Meticulous Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) to track progress and quality. Safety & Compliance: Actively monitor job site safety practices, ensuring all active construction aligns with OSHA, AWS, and environmental regulations. Collaborative Oversight: Partner closely with engineering teams, contractors, and project managers to resolve field discrepancies quickly and efficiently. Material Verification: Verify that all incoming structural materials, welding components, and industrial equipment match approved submittals. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 5+ years of heavy industrial construction inspection experience. (Prior experience with shipyards, ports, marine structures, or large-scale coastal infrastructure is a massive plus). Technical Skills: Expert ability to read and interpret complex structural blueprints, civil designs, and marine engineering schematics.
