Apply today and start building your future with Baker Roofing Company! Position Summary As a Roofer, you will install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and other low-slope roofing materials. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED preferred, but not required 
• Experience: 1-3 Years Minimum in Commercial Roofing 
• Driver’s License: Required

What You'll Do

• Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and other low-slope roofing materials. 
• Measure, cut, and install roofing materials according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines. 
• Install insulation, vapor barriers, flashing, sealants, and waterproofing systems. 
• Diagnose roof damage and perform repairs using appropriate materials and techniques. 
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment. 
• Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment on the jobsite. 
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout each project. 
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. 
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements. 
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule. 
• Assist with training and mentoring newer team members as experience allows. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Physical Demands

• ​​​​​​Requires the ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.  
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, and balance for long periods of time.  
• Requires use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without giving out or fatiguing.  
• Requires seeing details at close range.  
• Requires repetitive movement, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling 
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 

Work Environment This position requires working in a variety of environmental conditions, including: 

• Exposure to extremely bright or inadequate lighting. 
• Working in temperatures above 90&degree;F or below 32&degree;F. 
• Exposure to loud, distracting, or uncomfortable noise levels. 
• Exposure to contaminants, hazardous materials, and potentially hazardous equipment. 
• Working at heights and in other potentially dangerous conditions. 
• Exposure to minor injuries such as burns, cuts, bites, or stings. 
• Performing work where errors may have significant consequences. Strict adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations is required.
