Packaging Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to develop consumer and commercial packaging designs for new product launches.
• Edit current packaging specifications to fit customer or internal changing needs.
• Create mock-up packaging to confirm sizing, graphics placement, and customer needs.
• Analyze the market and trends and apply fundamental of packaging design - materials, design, cost, and shipping.
• Manage packaging deliverables against timelines.
• Utilize packaging software such as Esko ArtiosCAD, TOPS, internal databases, and file sharing
• Provide project updates and understand key takeaways
• Update the database with new information and troubleshoot errors
• Create TOPS reports for new product development and/or better optimize current shipments
• Proficient in Office 365 tools


Qualifications


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Engineering, or other related fields.


Experience: 3-5 years


Must have knowledge of:
• ArtiosCAD
• TOPS/CAPE
• Adobe Illustrator
