Associate Chemist - PFAS Analysis - 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat

Eurofins seeks an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples, particularly for PFAS analysis using LC/MS techniques. The role involves routine laboratory work including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data evaluation, and instrument maintenance on a second shift schedule (Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-11:30pm).
Responsibilities
- Prepare environmental samples using standard laboratory techniques
- Perform chemical analysis and quantify analytical data
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Record and report test results and document quality control samples
- Maintain training documentation and perform general laboratory housekeeping
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field, or 2+ years laboratory experience
- Professional English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Prior PFAS and/or LC/MS experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with mathematical calculations and data analysis
Compensation: $18-19/hour plus 10% shift differential
