Associate Chemist - Environment Testing - HRMS Prep - 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat

Associate Chemist at Eurofins prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with quality assurance procedures. The role involves hands-on laboratory work with organic solvents, instrumentation, and data evaluation on a 2nd shift schedule (Tuesday–Saturday, 2pm–10:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples and perform chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Evaluate, quantify, and record analytical data; report unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Maintain routine instrument operation and perform method-specific software competency
• Complete assigned quality control samples and manage personal workload using backlog reports
• Maintain training documentation, perform housekeeping, and assist other lab areas as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field, or 2 years laboratory experience
• Professional English proficiency: read, write, and speak fluently
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required
• Prior experience with organic sample preparation and laboratory settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Comfortable with mathematical calculations and data analysis

Compensation: $18-19/hour plus 10% shift differential
