Laboratory Analyst (ICPMS) - Eurofins Environment Testing - Lancaster, PA

Eurofins seeks a Laboratory Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques and EPA methodology. The role involves routine lab tasks, instrument operation, data recording, and compliance with quality assurance and safety standards in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples and perform chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Calculate, record, and report analytical data; communicate unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and operate complex analytical equipment
• Conduct sample aliquoting, weighing, and glassware washing following protocols
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in laboratory work area

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or three years of laboratory experience
• Laboratory experience preferred; production-oriented work background helpful
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills in English
• Problem-solving and time management abilities
• Ability to learn and follow protocols in analytical disciplines such as gas chromatography or metals analysis
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
• Willingness to train offsite in Richmond, VA

Compensation: $20-23/hr
