Microbiology Technician- 2nd Shift
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a Microbiology Technician for second shift laboratory operations supporting biopharmaceutical testing. The role involves sample preparation, equipment operation, data documentation, and quality assurance under GMP/GLP standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review reagents, samples, and standards according to established procedures
- Operate laboratory instrumentation independently or with guidance
- Document testing results, observations, and deviations in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Review laboratory data for accuracy and adherence to GMP/GLP standards
- Maintain laboratory workspace cleanliness and perform equipment maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with some laboratory experience or college coursework
- Proficiency with microscopes and biological safety cabinets
- Media preparation and organism/culture preparation skills
- Aseptic technique and good laboratory practices
- Ability to work in US without sponsorship
- Proficiency with MS Windows applications including Excel and Word
- Strong written and oral communication skills
