You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and property concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
