As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public galleries, exhibition areas, employee spaces, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility conditions, or potential policy violations, documenting incidents accurately and communicating information to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly visitor environment by providing directions, monitoring access to restricted areas, and supporting site policies during special events and high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
