Senior Investment Accountant

Location Dallas TX - Hybrid (Open to relocation for the right candidate) Job Responsibilities Monitor investment portfolios for compliance with regulatory requirements, investment guidelines, and exposure limits. Conduct technical accounting research related to U.S. GAAP, statutory accounting, new investment strategies, and emerging accounting standards. Oversee the accuracy and integrity of investment data through system reviews, reconciliations, and data validation processes. Prepare, review, and oversee statutory and GAAP investment reporting. Improve operational efficiency through process enhancements, automation initiatives, and data analytics solutions. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual investment accounting close activities. Maintain investment accounting policies, SOX controls, and internal control frameworks. Manage investment accounting and reporting for a diversified portfolio of invested assets. Qualifications 5-8 years of experience in GAAP and insurance industry reporting Knowledge of US GAAP and insurance statutory reporting Prior exposure to investment accounting in private equity or wealth Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
