A/V Technician

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced A/V Technician (AV Event Support Specialist) to support corporate events, executive meetings, town halls, and hybrid collaboration sessions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with professional audio/video equipment, conferencing platforms, and live event support in a fast-paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Event Setup & Operation
- Configure and operate audio and video systems for corporate events, town halls, and executive meetings.
- Ensure proper signal flow and connectivity across all AV components.
- Provide technical expertise and support for Microsoft Teams and Webex platforms.
- Troubleshoot conferencing and platform issues during live sessions.
- Partner with event organizers, IT teams, and external vendors to coordinate technical requirements.
- Provide real-time technical support and issue resolution during live events.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
- Maintain AV equipment inventory and ensure all equipment is event-ready.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Escalate repair and replacement needs as required.
- Hands-on experience with professional audio systems, including microphones, mixers, and amplifiers.
- Experience with video systems, including cameras, switchers, and projectors.
- Familiarity with Poly conferencing systems and AV signal flow.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in live event environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with streaming platforms and hybrid event technologies.
- Knowledge of AV control systems and networking fundamentals.
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and transport AV equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure event environments.
