Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Combined Adult/Pediatric

Shift: Nights, 1900–0700 Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Trauma experience preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• EPIC charting experience is required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including adults and pediatrics.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform trauma assessment and interventions for trauma patients.
• Monitor and manage patients in critical condition, including those requiring advanced cardiac support.
• Educate patients and families regarding health concerns and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Background checks are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Return staff policy: 1 year
