Human Resources Manager – Tonawanda, NY As Human Resources Manager at our Tonawanda, NY facility, you will lead a wide range of HR functions, serve as a frontline operational support partner, and collaborate closely with production and leadership teams to drive business results while ensuring compliance with all employment laws and company policies. Foster strong partnerships with operations and production teams to align HR initiatives with business goals. Provide expert advice and coaching to department managers on attendance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline. Maintain effective employee relationships, ensuring a trusted resource is available across all production shifts with discretion and confidentiality. Support the implementation and communication of core HR programs such as recognition programs, employee feedback forums, engagement survey action planning, and plant communications. Interpret and apply policies, ensuring compliance with guidelines related to attendance, paid time off, job transfers, accommodations, and other staffing matters. Manage staffing and recruitment needs, including onboarding and new‑hire orientation processes. Utilize our HRIS, Workday, for data entry and conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity. Drive positive employee relations by addressing inquiries and concerns proactively, supporting investigations, and ensuring all personnel matters are handled professionally and consistently. Compensation: $99,200 – $148,800 annually, based on experience, education, and other qualifying factors. A successful candidate may also be eligible for discretionary merit compensation, bonuses, and equity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education. 5 or more years of related Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Excellent problem‑solving, verbal and written communication skills. Strong personal accountability for high‑quality work and a continuous improvement mindset. Experience using HRIS Systems such as Workday (and dimensions UKG preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility in hours as needed and ability to support occasional shift changes.
