Perioperative Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse providing perioperative care in an operating room setting. Responsible for patient monitoring, emergency response, and documentation during surgical procedures. Works with surgical teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques
• Manage intraoperative patient monitoring and respond promptly to emergencies or complications
• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with hospital policies
• Execute call back duties within 20 minutes for emergency surgeries

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license from the state of New Mexico
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• TNCC certification
• CPS certification or other approved specialty certifications
• Basic clinical experience in an operating room or perioperative setting
• Ability to respond to call back within 20 minutes
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work days and call shifts
