Within a small ambulatory surgery center specializing in vascular surgeries, the Clinical Director of Nursing oversees an efficient footprint featuring 1 modern OR, a dedicated procedure suite, and several pre/post bays. Four attending physicians sustain an average of about 30 cases per week, with the heaviest flow late in the week. Cases emphasize vascular and image-guided therapies in a fast-turnover, high-reliability setting. The Director of Nursing aligns staffing, scheduling, and supplies to keep pre-op, intra-op, and PACU moving seamlessly.

Reporting to executives, the Clinical Director of Nursing is supported by friendly perioperative nurses and a diverse team of technologists, anesthesia partners, and coordinators. This Perioperative Nursing Leader drives accreditation readiness (AAAHC/CMS), infection prevention and sterile processing, medication management and conscious sedation standards, and EMR/scheduling optimization. Preferred background includes OR and PACU expertise, critical care or ED exposure, interventional radiology/angio/cath familiarity, and proven leadership in ambulatory settings.
