Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Sign-on-Bonus up to $200,000 | Salary Range: $610,000 - $712,000

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our staff.

The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. The Bassett network includes over 400 employed practitioners.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated healthcare system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

This is a vibrant and sophisticated upstate community set in a bucolic lakefront village affording four seasons of cultural and outdoor activity. We have an unparalleled sports center walking distance from the hospital, which includes three swimming pools, rock climbing, racquetball and squash courts.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. We offer a full range of noninvasive testing including MRI, CT, echo and nuclear cardiology. We have a busy in-invasive lab with over 10,000 echos and 2000 nuclear scans yearly, with dedicated reading time. To include:

• O utpatient, Inpatient and Regional Patient Care
• Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record
• Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs, Cardiology Fellowship
• The faculty teach our cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students. 
• Night call twice monthly with fellow and resident support
• Salary Range: $610,000 - $712,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Bassett offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
• Sign-on bonus up to $200,000

Qualifications

1. MD, DO or MBBS
2. Board Eligible/Board Certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
3. New York State Licensure
4. BLS Certification Required
5. DEA Required
