This individual will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, developing strategic client relationships, driving new business opportunities across market sectors, and expanding the company’s geographic service area. The ideal candidate is a proactive networker with a strong understanding of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and a proven ability to identify opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and contribute to company growth. Responsibilities: Generate qualified leads and identify new business opportunities throughout the Wichita market and surrounding region. Expand the company’s footprint by building relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, and industry stakeholders. Develop, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline from prospect identification through project award. Actively network within the community by participating in industry organizations, business events, trade associations, and client functions. Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing and prospective clients. Collaborate with operations, estimating, and leadership teams to develop winning pursuit strategies and proposals. Assist in preparing presentations, qualifications packages, interviews, and proposal submissions. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and forecasting updates to leadership. Represent the company professionally while promoting our values, capabilities, and commitment to client success. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Business Development experience in the Wichita market. Experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required. Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in new business opportunities. Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong negotiation, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Valid Driver’s License required.
